Our handmade Wooden Vivariums are some of the most affordable in the country and are built to the highest quality. They are available as either flat packed or fully constructed vivariums and can be made in a variety of colours. We can also have vivariums custom made if you have specific requirements.

The vivarium is the most base component to any reptile set up. Vivariums are where your reptile will be spending the majority of their lives and so you want it to be the best vivarium for your money!

The most popular brand of glass vivarium in the UK is Exo Terra's Glass Terrarium (though more popularly known as vivariums in the UK).

They are beautifully well made vivariums. They are made from glass on all sides, except the top which is a strong wire mesh for ventilation that can be easily removed for access from the top if you need it.

This is a popular vivarium for frog keepers because unlike wooden vivariums it is 100% waterproof and so not only can the vivarium maintain a very high humidity indefinitely, but you can even have a fully aquatic environment at the base and use branches, plants, or even improvise a false bottom.

However, most reptile keepers prefer wooden vivariums which have several advantages over the glass ones. First of all, wood is a far better insulator and so it will be easier to heat the vivarium, and will save you money on your electricity bill!

Also, they are stackable, so if you have a collection of several reptiles you can stack the vivariums on top of each other.

They also reduce the risk that you have with glass vivariums of your reptile accidentally running into the sides and hurting themselves. The enclosed space will also help your reptile feel more secure with its surroundings.
