Jungle Carpet Python - Morelia spilota cheynei

Carpet Pythons are a long slender snake from Australia. They usually grow to around 6 feet long but some sub species can grow larger.

Carpet Pythons are usually described as being semi-arboreal since they are very well adapted climbers and have a prehensile tail to aid them in their arboreal pursuits, however they tend to spend more time closer to the ground than in the trees.
