Bairds Rat Snake - Elaphe bairdi

Bairds Rat Snakes originate from southern parts of the USA as well as Mexico. They generally grow to be around 4 feet long and have similar temperament and care requirements to corn snakes.

Their pattern changes significantly from hatchling to adult. Young Bairds Ratsnakes are grey with reddish brown saddles down their back which fade as they mature to a salmon background colour with dark bands running down their bodies.
