Albino California Kingsnake - Lampropeltis getula californiae

King Snakes are native to Southern USA and are called Kings because they are immune to Rattle Snake bites and can overcome and kill a Rattle Snake making them the "King" of snakes in their region. However, they will also eat their own kind (they are cannibals) and so they must be kept seperately. California Kingsnake's normal wild colour is black and yellow banding, but they are also bred with stripes and as albinos (pink and yellow) shown above.

They grow to about 4 feet and are generally docile in nature and one of the most popular snakes kept in captivity.
